ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild today announced it will host the Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 6 at Xcel Energy Center in the Wild's 2018-19 home opener. The expansion team earned the title of Western Conference champions in its inaugural season.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the Wild and Golden Knights clashed three times -- twice in St. Paul and once in Las Vegas. The Wild was one of only two teams in the NHL to sweep Vegas, winning 4-2 on Nov. 30, 5-2 on Feb. 2 and 4-2 on March 16.

The complete 2018-19 regular season schedule will be announced in conjunction with the NHL on Thursday, June 21, at 4:30 p.m. CT. The on-sale date and pricing for Minnesota Wild regular season tickets will be announced at a later date.

Zach and Jordan are continuing their dad's legacy by launching Parise Hockey this summer. Through Parise Hockey and its hockey camps their goal is to encourage growth, inspire athletes to strive for greatness, and provide an environment for a motivated individual to excel. Aiming to do what their dad was great at, making a positive influence on peoples’ lives on and off the ice. We thought it would be fun to partner up and recreate their dad's old shooting school shirt - JP's Shooting School! We are putting the final touches on the artwork and will be releasing it on our tees and hoodies in July. Stay tuned.

From State Of Hockey - It's section championship time in Minnesota. Teams across the State of Hockey are taking that final step to make it to The Tourney. While this is Moorhead's 18th straight section championship game, it's the first ever for the one team that stands in the way of the spuds making another trip to St. Paul. Both St. Michael-Albertville and Moorhead will make the long drive to Bemidji for the Section 8AA final. But only one team will get to continue their journey.
